Irish Grammar Course for Students

Course Summary

This course is available for students who have a particular interest in Irish grammar.

The following will be mentioned as part of this course:

  • The noun
  • The copula
  • The cases
  • Plurals
  • The adjective
  • Numbers
  • Prefixes and suffixes
  • Lenition
  • Using the dictionary etc
All students of UCC are welcome to attend this course. The course is specifically aimed at students who have a high standard of Irish and who would like to improve their knowledge of Irish grammar. This course will be taught completly through the medium of Irish.

Course Details - Spring 2024

Course Dates:  week commencing 5 February 2024 – week commencing 18 March 2024* (1 hour every week for 7 weeks).  Please let us know when you are unavailable to attend your class on the application form. This class will be arranged at a time that is suitable to the majority of students and the tutor.

Location: Classes will be held on campus.  

Deadline for Applications:  Friday, 26 January 2024, 4pm.
