The Seomra Caidrimh is a focal point of activities related to the Irish language.

The Seomra Caidrimh is used regularly by An Chuallacht, An Cumann Drámaíochta, The TradSoc and students attending night classes on a regular basis.

It is a Common Room for staff members as well.  It allows at least 4,000 people to come in contact with the Irish language every year.
