UCC Heroes: Patrice Cooper, Lawrence Dooley and Linda Murphy, Management and Marketing

Patrice Cooper, Lawrence Dooley and Linda Murphy were nominated by Dympna O’Donovan. Dympna shares:

"I’d like to nominate some of the programme directors in my department who have quietly and consistently managed large programmes with placements at postgraduate and undergraduate level, through the huge changes that have taken place in teaching in the last few months and will continue to do so for months to come. They are some of the ordinary people doing so many ordinary things with grace and humanity, dealing with a huge volume of difficulties/queries from students – both national and international – and their families, to help them process and alleviate the stress and uncertainty of this pandemic. They have proven that UCC is not just bricks and mortar; its strength in this crisis is its people, its community: the glue, the fabric that holds us together in a crisis.”
