CENTRE FOR ADULT CONTINUING EDUCATION
Applications are invited from UCC staff members for the full-time 1-year contract post of Modularisation Administrator.Reporting to the Administrative Officer, Office for Academic Programmes and Regulations, the Modularisation Administrator will be located in the Centre for Adult Continuing Education.The post holder will co-ordinate the modularisation of Adult Continuing Education programmes working with appropriate staff in ACE.In that regarda key responsibility will be to ensure that the key functions of registration, timetabling, examinations, student records and transcripts within the Centre for Adult Continuing Education reflect the modularised structure of academic programmes.
Essential Criteria: The successful candidate will have:
- Proven administrative experience in an academic or related environment at an appropriate level
- High level verbal and written communication skills and experience of drafting documentation in a clear and unambiguous manner
- Proven organisational and analytical skills
- Proven ability to prioritise and plan work
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office suite of programmes
- Proven ability to effectively liaise with staff at all levels
- Ability to work on ones own initiative and meet tight deadlines in a flexible and dynamic work environment.

Salary scales:
€36,386 – €45,218 (Scale A)
€38,299 – €47,596 (Scale B) new entrants
