Happy Talk Resources

Happy Talk has developed resources that are used in delivering the programme. These resources can also be used by parents with their children at home or by educators in supporting their settings. 

Resources for parents  include:

• Happy Talk Posters - Summaries and examples of the Happy Talk strategies
• Happy Talk Handouts - These contain detailed tips and activities for parents to practice Happy Talk strategies.

Resources for early years settings include:

• Whole Setting Audit - A tool that can be used by educators to review their own settings' language environment.
• Book Area Audit - Educators can assess their book areas using this tool.
• Transition Flower - Pre-school teachers can use this tool to share information on a particular child with their Junior infants teacher for a new school year or their parents.
