UCC PRESIDENTS BECOME AMBASSADORS FOR E-BIKING

President John O’Halloran and Students Union President Asha Woodhouse were presented with electric bikes for their use during the academic year 21/22 by UCC’s Green Campus Team. 

Our new cycling ambassadors will use the e-bikes for commuting, off campus meetings and to get to official duties and appointments where possible. Both Presidents who are recognised leaders in their efforts to promote the Green Agenda and sustainability at UCC were delighted to become our new e-bike cycling ambassadors and hope to encourage more sustainable commuting for the wider university community. 

E-Bikes trials for staff will continue in tandem. If trialling an E-Bike is something you’re interested in please email greencampus@ucc.ie.
