UCC Green Week Symposium: Call for Abstracts

Our call for submissions is open for the upcoming UCC Green Week Symposium. Green Week is an annual initiative during which UCC raises awareness of existing sustainability challenges and solutions, running campaigns and events throughout the week.

UCC Green Campus and the Environmental Research Institute have teamed up to highlight the rich and diverse sustainability-related research that is being carried out across UCC. Abstract submissions are invited from UCC researchers addressing any area related to the environment and sustainability (including but not limited to a just transition, agriculture, energy, or law and policy).

Each participant will be allocated a 15-minute slot (12 minutes PowerPoint presentation and 3 minutes for questions). There will also be networking opportunities and refreshments during the event.

All UCC students and staff across all disciplines are welcome to apply. Postgraduate students are particularly encouraged to submit. The UCC Green Week Symposium will take place on Monday 13th March 2023 from 5:30pm on UCC main campus.

This is your opportunity to showcase your research with the UCC and Cork community. Please send us a brief abstract of no more than 250 words detailing your topic and what your presentation will cover. The deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday 24th February 2023.
