Positions of leadership, managing projects and consultancy work have resulted in strong skills within collaborative working, people and operations management. With an aptitude for research and data analysis, developing useful approaches for meaningful interpretation of information has been a key theme applied academically and to a diverse set of technical work settings.

My personal scientific focus has been influenced by my varied background. I am interested in the chemical and nutritional make-up of food and find it all the more fascinating when this research links back to fundamental themes underpinning biology and health. I am intrigued by the interactions of food constituents with the complex system of life, from the micro-scale up to the level of whole organisms and subsequent role within wider biodiversity.
