ESS - Employee Self Service, Access Steps and Links
ESS – Employee Self Service for accessing your leave and payroll data online
ESS is used by permanent and fixed term staff. It is intended that the future rollout of ESS will enable access for retired staff members and those paid under the hourly occasional pay policy.

Steps to accessing the ESS system -
Firstly you must have your UCC email set up and have received your staff number
For the first time you log in you should be on UCC network (if this is not possible then email firstname.lastname@example.org and they will do this for you)
Using the link http://www.ucc.ie/en/ess/ select ESS login, type in your staff number and then select reset a password
You will receive an email containing a link back to the ESS
Next you enter your staff number and create your own personal password
In order to access the ESS from this point on you simply go to http://www.ucc.ie/en/ess/ and follow instructions.
ESS queries are only dealt with by email so if you are experiencing difficulty with your access please email email@example.com
Personnel queries email firstname.lastname@example.org
Queries relating to your payslip email email@example.com
