CCAE Lecture Peter Wilson
Architecture Society Lecture in collaboration with the RIAI by Peter Wilson: "The Shuffle of Things - The Large and The Small of It".
Born in Melbourne, Australia, Peter Wilson studied architecture at the University of Melbourne from 1969-71, with further studies at the AA London from 1972-74. He founded the Wilson Partnership in London in 1980, before moving his practice to Munster, Germany renaming it Bolles+Wilson in 2002. Wilson's achievements include: -The German Steel Award received in 1978, -The Goldmedal from Japanese Architects' Institute in 1994, -The Carlsberg Architectural Prize in 1998, -The Worldwide Brick Award in 2012. Wilson was awarded the AIA Gold Medal in 2013, Australian Institute of Architects' highest honor. This recognition acknowledges Wilson's role as a remarkable statesman for Australia as well as an outstanding body of architectural works of great distinction, widely published and exhibited over more than thirty years.
