Deirdre Clune, MEP; John Mullins, Amarenco; Aisling Judge, Eli Lilly; Mervyn Greene, EPIC Ireland CHQ and Lizzie Lee, 1st SOE female Olympian will talk about their careers, innovations in the industry and future plans.

5th School of Engineering Industry & Careers Day Invited Speakers from each of the Engineering disciplines will talk about their careers, innovations in the industry and future plans. Also this year, we have invited someone who is not working in an engineering career to talk about non-engineering options upon graduation. This will be followed by a Panel Discussion and questions from the audience. The 4th School of Engineering Industry & Open Day was THE 'must attend' event of 2016 for anyone interesting in a future career in Engineering. With over 420 students from 40 secondary schools, invited industry personnel and a panel of excellent speakers from each of the Engineering disciplines, it was a packed Devere Hall. This year we have assembled another stellar line-up of speakers: Deirdre Clune, MEP; John Mullins of Amarenco Solar (formerly Bord Gais); Aisling Judge of Eli Lilly; Mervyn Greene of EPIC Ireland CHQ and Lizzie Lee, who combines Project Management with representing Ireland at the Olympics. It promises to be another exciting and stimulating event. Book early to avoid disappointment! Schools, please email Ralph O'Flaherty on r.oflaherty@ucc.ie. Industry attendees, please email Anne- Marie McSweeney on a.mcsweeney@ucc.ie to register. Attendance at the event is free of charge.
