Successful, sustainable ageing - lightening talks.

Our lightening talks seminar series kicks off with a discussion on successful ageing led by Kellie Morrissey & Marica Cassarino,researchers on ageing in the School of Applied Psychology with Dr. Mike Murphy as discussant. .

A series of discussions will be held on research areas in the School of Applied Psychology as part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations.The School of Applied Psychology Lightening Talks are short, focussed presentations of no more than 15 minutes. Each session has two Lightening Talks, and is chaired by a third, who will also act as the discussant, guiding a short audience inclusive discussion of the theme of the talk. The Lightening Talk Series highlights research outcomes, activities, measures and outreach by researchers in the School; talks may be interactive, or have several forms, including e-posters, exhibits and demonstration of psychological measures and equipment.
