UCC’s Disability Support Service offers free training in technology for students who learn differently. A series of training sessions for students who have difficulties with reading or writing are being held from January to March 2014. Training is open to all second level students (and their parents) and will be held in UCC. This training is relevant to students with literacy difficulties and also to those students who have difficulties reading and writing as a result of low stamina/energy levels. This session is handson training assistive technology for reading supports.
