Department of Epidemiology and Public Health Methodology Seminar
Prof. Ivan Perry, Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health will present a methodology seminar on causation.
"Some Reflections on Causation" presented by Prof. Ivan Perry. Prof Perry was appointed Professor of Public Health in the newly established Department of Epidemiology & Public Health in 1997 and over the past 18 years he has led the development of a flourishing, multi-disciplinary Department of Epidemiology & Public Health with a 4–year undergraduate BSc in Public Health, Masters Programmes in Public Health (MPH) and Occupational Health (MSc) and doctoral students in CVD and suicide epidemiology, health services research and applied public health research. He has supervised over 15 MD’s and PhD’s and over 40 Masters dissertations. He has recently led in the establishment of Ireland’s first online Masters in Public Health programme.
