Creating Business Value from Emerging Technologies (Taster)
This taster session will introduce participants to the Creating Business Value from Emerging Technologies workshop series, as well as provide an overview of current tech trends in business.
Business executives and managers are acutely aware of the potential for new technologies within their organisations. However, more often than not they are forced by market pressures into technological/business decisions without having a full understanding or an adequate set of techniques to ensure a high rate of success. The workshop series introduced at this taster session is aimed at business executives/managers wishing to enhance their toolkit in the area of technology and business management and enable organisations drive sustainable value from technology and innovation initiatives. The series is divided into four independent workshops (each 2 days in duration), which can be taken individually or in combination with the other workshops in the series. Each workshop has a number of applied outcomes which the participants can utilise immediately to the benefit of the organisation and executive/manager. The workshops tackle key challenges that managers and organisations are faced with and provide a blend of newly developed techniques/solutions to these challenges.
