Forging Partnerships: Ireland and Lithuania in an EU27
Tanaiste & Foreign Affairs Minister, Simon Coveney, and Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Linas Linkevičius, visit UCC to discuss the future of the EU27.
Across Europe, citizens are being encouraged to debate their visions for the future of the European Union. Following the Brexit vote, new alliances in an EU of 27 Member States are being forged, and EU leaders have pledged to debate, not dictate, the future shape of the EU. The Department of Government and Politics , in partnership with the Institute for International and European Affairs (IIEA) (Dublin) is delighted to welcome Tanaiste and Foreign Affairs Minister, Simon Coveney, and Lithuanian Foreign Minister, Linas Linkevičius, to UCC to discuss the future of the EU27. Come and contribute your views on the #FutureOfEurope. All welcome.
