Anne Enright Public Lecture

Booker Prize-winning novelist and Irish Fiction Laureate Anne Enright will speak on the role of the female voice in Irish life.

As part of her role as Irish Fiction Laureate, promoting Irish literature nationally and internationally, novelist Anne Enright will use the plays of Sophocles to discuss the role of the female voice in Irish life. The title of this inaugural Laureateship lecture is "Giving Voice: Antigone and the Dishonoured Dead."
