Archaeology Lunchtime Seminar
'Excavating one of Cashel's royal forts, Rathnadrinna 2012–2014'. The Department of Archaeology is delighted to welcome Richard O'Brien of the National Roads Authority to deliver this week's lunchtime seminar entitled.
Excavations have been underway since 2012 at one of Cashel's royal forts - Rathnadrinna. This field project has been funded by the Royal Irish Academy and many of the student volunteers are past and current students of the Department of Archaeology here at UCC. Director Richard O'Brien, who is also a graduate of UCC, will be stopping by to give an update on the project ahead of its fourth season. You can visit the project's Facebook Page to find out more.
