Archaeology Lunchtime Seminar
Consultant archaeologist, Martin Watts, will deliver this week's lunchtime seminar on 'The conservation and restoration of historic mills in the United Kingdom'.
The Department of Archaeology is delighted to welcome Martin Watts, Consultant Archaeologist, to deliver this week's lunchtime seminar entitled ‘The conservation and restoration of historic mills in the United Kingdom’. Martin Watts graduate from the University Of Leicester in 1987 and has been in professional archaeology ever since. He has held positions in the Museum of London's Urban Archaeology Department and Exeter Archaeology. He is currently Publications Manager at Cotswold Archaeology. Martin has particular expertise in medieval and post- medieval urban archaeology, and has published on sites in Plymouth and Bristol. The talk will be held from 1pm, Tuesday 03rd March across from the Department of Archaeology in room CONNA (Connolly Courtyard - through archway to left).
