Archaeology Evening Lecture: Dr Alex Gibson, Reader in Prehistory at the University of Bradford

The Archaeology Student Society, ArchSoc, and the Department of Archaeology are delight to welcome Dr Alex Gibson of the University of Bradford who kicks off the Evening Lecture Programme for 2015 with a talk entitled: ‘The Bronze Age Neolithic in Britain: Resurrection or Reinvention?'. Dr Gibson is a Reader in Prehistory at the University of Bradford since 2001. Before this, he held posts with English Heritage, the University of Leicester and the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust. Dr Gibson also undertook postdoctoral research at the Instituut voor Prae- en Proto-Historie, University of Amsterdam. His current research includes Neolithic and Bronze Age ceramics and the technology of prehistoric ceramics. This event is open to all and we look forward to seeing you there on the night!
