Archaeology Lunchtime Seminar Series: Dr Alex Gibson, University of Bradford

The Department of Archaeology is delighted to welcome Dr Alex Gibson, Reader in Prehistory at Bradford University, to deliver this week's lunchtime seminar entitled: ‘How to burn an urn - some observations on the technology of Bronze Age sepulchral pottery' Dr Gibson is a Reader in Prehistory at the University of Bradford since 2001. Before this, Dr Gibson held posts with English Heritage, the University of Leicester and the Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust. Dr Gibson also undertook postdoctoral research at the Instituut voor Prae- en Proto-Historie, University of Amsterdam. His current research includes Neolithic and Bronze Age ceramics and the technology of prehistoric ceramics. All welcome! Find out more about Archaeology Seminars and Evening Lectures at:
