Dr Jonny Geber, IRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow will speak on: ‘Child experiences of the Great Irish Famine (1845-52): Bioarchaeological insights on the impact of institutionalization at Kilkenny Union Workhouse’ This will be followed by Niamh Daly (PhD candidate) who will speak on her current research entitled: '"Til death do us part": A bioarchaeological investigation of female kinship ties in Early Medieval Ireland’.
