A Women's Studies seminar examining aspects of Irish Women's views and experiences of the First World War

The seminar will focus on issues like women and war work, 'separation women' and mobilisation of women in Cork, relief work in the war zone, pacifism, loss and mourning. One speaker will talk about the digitisation of Mary Martin's diary. Speakers: Rosemary Cullen-Owens; John Borgonovo; Sandra McAvoy; Mary Muldowney; Rachel Murphy; Maeve O'Riordan and Clodagh Tait.
