Inaugural Lecture, 'Fascinating Flaubert', Adjunct Professor, School of L.L.&C.
This is the Inaugural Lecture by the first Adjunct Professor appointed to the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures in UCC.The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures is delighted to welcome Professor Timothy Unwin, the first Adjunct Professor appointed to the School, to deliver his inaugural lecture entitled ‘Fascinating Flaubert’ in the Council Room, at 5.00p.m. on Monday 16th May 2011. Tim Unwin is Emeritus Professor of French at the University of Bristol. His main research interest is in the nineteenth-century French novel, with particular emphasis on travel and technology, and an additional interest in French accounts of Australia in the nineteenth century.
