ICOMST (International Congress of Meat Science & Technology)
UCC and Teagasc host the 63rd International Congress of Meat Science and Technology from the 13th to the 18th of August. Areas of focus will be innovation and research in meat science.
These highly stimulating sessions will cover topics from sustainability, production and welfare to meat safety, processing and the effect on health, which will be of direct interest to all stakeholders. In addition to a packed programme on thought provoking topics of global interest, delegates can avail of additional activities including a special symposium on grass fed meat and a pre-congress workshop in Dublin on meat eating quality and the implementation of UNECE standards.
