Climate Change Conference
The conference will consist of two main panel discussions. 1) "International Development and Climate Justice: Challenges and New Goals" 2) "Political and Corporate Responses to Climate Change: Solutions and Barriers"

The event organised by the several student societies: Philosophical Society, Engineers Without Borders, Environmental Society, International Development and the Green Campus Committee.
There will be two talks given as well as two panels "UTC and UTRC: Sustainability Goals and Selected Product & System Efficiency Improvement Projects" Dr Stevo Mijanovic - General manager, United Technologies Research Centre (UTRC) Ireland. "The Climate Marches: Activism and Influencing Power" May Boeve - Executive Director of 350.org, a grassroots environmental group that organised the historic Climate Marches in September 2014.
1) "International Development and Climate Justice: Challenges and New Goals" Dr Alexa Zellentin - Lecturer in political theory at the UCD School of Politics and International Relations; Niamh Garvey- Environmental Justice Policy Officer for Trocaire; Dr Liam McCarton - Director of Engineers Without Borders Ireland.
2) "Political and Corporate Responses to Climate Change: Solutions and Barriers" Oisin Coghlan - Director of Friends of the Earth Ireland; Tom Arnold - Director of IIEA, Board Member of the Mary Robinson Foundation, former Director of Concern Worldwide; Dr Aine Ryall - Lecturer in environmental law, School of law, UCC. John Gibbons - Journalist, environmental activist, blogger at ThinkorSwim.
