Guidance Counsellors Conference
This annual conference informs Guidance Counsellors about changes to programmes, developments in UCC and provides a Continuing Professional Development session in the afternoon.
Approximately 120 Guidance Counsellors have now registered to attend the UCC Guidance Counsellors Conference 2014. This Conference informs Guidance Counsellors about changes to programmes, developments in UCC and provides a Continuing Professional Development session in the afternoon. The day will include updates on new academic programmes and curriculum updates, as well as information on the new Arts Work Placement Module and a Q&A session to be hosted by IGC President Betty McLaughlin and Cork Branch Secretary Mariel Twomey. We are delighted this year to have Dr Emer Smyth from the Economic & Social Research Institute who will address the Conference on the recently published ‘Leaving School in Ireland’ report.
