International Academy of Nursing Editors Annual Conference
The mission of International Academy of Nursing Editors Conference is to promote best practices in publishing and high standards in publishing of nursing and midwifery journals, books, and Web-based literature.
The School of Nursing & Midwifery, UCC in association with The International Academy of Nursing Editors (INANE) is pleased to announce a two-day conference will be held in Cork on 29th to 31st July 2013. INANE is an international collaborative group – a collective of nursing editors and publishers focused on meeting the practice, research and education needs of the nursing and midwifery professions. The primary mission of International Academy of Nursing Editors Conference is to promote best practices in publishing and high standards in the publishing of nursing and midwifery journals, books, and Web-based literature. Conference registration is open to editors, publishers, authors, reviewers, nurses and midwives with an interest in discussing issues related to publishing. Topics for discussion include ethical issues in publishing, survey results of inappropriate authorship, reporting of music based interventions and editorial issues. Leading editors in the nursing field from the worlds of academia and publishing as well as Professors Alan Kelly (Dean of Graduate studies) and Anita Maguire (Vice President for Research & innovation), UCC will address the conference. Delegates from USA, Hong Kong, Israel, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland will be in attendance.
