Frank O'Connor: A Real Story

On Thursday 10th March 2016 we mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Frank O’Connor. With the support of the Irish Research Council, UCC School of English continues its exploration of the significance of O’Connor’s life and writings.

A day in celebration of Frank O’Connor’s legacy, to take place in University College Cork on 10 March 2016. Contributors include Dr Paul Delaney (TCD), Éilís Ní Dhuibhne (UCD), Dr Hilary Lennon (UCC), Prof Brendan Mathews (Bard College at Simon’s Rock), Danielle McLaughlin, Dr Ellen McWilliams (Exeter University), Mary Morrissy (UCC), Fintan O’Toole (Princeton University), Prof Frank Shovlin (University of Liverpool) and Prof Emeritus Alan Titley (UCC). The day will also feature the donation of over 700 manuscript O’Connor letters to UCC Library, by Prof Oliver O’Donovan.
