Ó Longáin Conference

An exploration of life, work and times of the Ó Longáin family, Cork's most important family of Irish scribes.

This is the first ever major conference to discuss the work of the Ó Longáin family of scribes. Speakers are Breandán Ó Conchúir, Timothy O’Neill, David Dickson, Joan Rockley, Margaret Lantry, Siobhán Fitzpatrick, John Mulcahy, Meidhbhín Ní Úrdail, and Pádraig Ó Macháin. An exhibition of a selection of Ó Longáin manuscripts, and of ancillary material, will be held in Special Collections, Boole Library.
