VIII Annual Graduate Conference in Italian Studies

An International Doctoral Student Conference with keynote lecture.

This annual postgraduate conference, which has now been running for eight years, is organized by the Department of Italian, UCC and features over 25 papers presented by doctoral students, both local and international. This year's keynote lecture will be delivered by Dr Ruth Glynn (University of Bristol) on the topic of “Women, Terrorism and Italian Culture: Tropes and Frames”. The conference boasts a full, rich and varied programme. Paper topics range from Medieval Church history, to Renaissance art, to 19th-century travel, to current Italian cinema and literature. All welcome.
