Borderlines XVIII: Power and Influence will be proudly hosted by University College Cork on April 4-6, 2014. This is the 18th annual interdisciplinary postgraduate conference for researchers in the fields of Medieval and Early Modern studies. One of the largest events of its kind in Ireland, this year Borderlines will host 50 speakers from Ireland, UK, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece and the USA. The keynote address “Power and Influence in Medieval Ireland; the Legacy of Brian Boru” will be given by Professor Seán Duffy (TCD) at 5:15pm on Friday 4 April in Boole 1.
