Clinic Media and Expecto, in association with The Granary Theatre, are proud to announce Saviour, a new play written and performed by Timothy O’Mahony, running at the Granary Theatre from the 3rd to the 7th of June at 8pm. Jack Murphy questions the world around him as he struggles with his lonely life. He turns to God, but becomes frustrated when God doesn’t reply or help to do anything about the state of the world. Jack knows it is time for a saviour but God must be on holidays. Saviour is the first play written by Cork actor Timothy O’Mahony. It will be directed by Eoin O hAnnrachain, who previously directed Timothy in Clinic Media’s production of Falling Slowly. Timothy has previously acted in Ken Loach’s Palme d’Or winning The Wind That Shakes the Barley as well as working with Corcadorca and Clinic Media. Clinic Media have produced numerous theatrical productions since 2007 including Life Behind The Venue, A Serving of Pinter, Life in The Venue and Howie The Rookie. Saviour is the first production from Expecto and Timothy is delighted to showcase this work in association with Clinic Media at one of Cork’s finest theatres.
