Hal McLeavy and his mate Dennis have robbed a bank beside the undertakers and hidden the money
Hal McLeavy and his mate Dennis have robbed a bank beside the undertakers and hidden the money. On the day of Hal’s mothers funeral the police come sniffing around and asking questions, prompting the boys to hide the money in Mrs. McLeavy’s grave, with the all important hilarious consequences. Throw into the mix a predatory nurse and hot-shot detective Truscott, it seems that everyone will be spending a long time behind bars. Written in the 60’s and referred to as the ‘Freudian Nightmare’, this play was way ahead of its time with controversial themes and risqué dialogue. Hilarity from start to finish.Category: | Arts and Cultural Events: Granary Theatre |
