Documentary screening of 'It Stays With You: Use of Force by UN Peacekeepers in Haiti' and discussion with filmmaker Siobhán Wills - Roundtable discussion - Talk and exhibition visit with artist Dara McGrathIn association with the Glucksman Gallery's current exhibition, OUTPOSTS: Global Borders and National Boundaries, the Memory research cluster of CASiLaC (Centre for Advanced Studies in Languages and Cultures) presents 'Global Borders, Local Narratives'. The event is free to attend and all are welcome for refreshments from 12pm onwards, in the River Room downstairs in the Glucksman Gallery. At 12.30pm there will be a screening of the 2017 documentary 'It Stays With You: Use of Force by UN Peacekeepers in Haiti', followed by a discussion with the filmmaker Siobhán Wills. This screening is held in association with the UCC Centre for Criminal Justice and Human Rights. At 2pm, a roundtable discussion on the theme of global borders and local narratives will follow. Finally, at 3.30pm, exhibited photographer Dara McGrath will present his work and there will be a guided visit of the current Glucksman exhibition. A drinks reception in the O'Rahilly Building will follow the event. All are welcome to attend any or all of the programme, and we look forward to seeing you there.
