In Detail: Dr Laurence Davis
Laurence Davis has published widely in the areas of political theory and ideologies, radical political thought, anarchist and utopian studies, democratic and revolutionary theory.
In Detail is a series of public conversations that focus on a single work. Inviting academic experts from different backgrounds and pairing them with a Glucksman curator, these sessions provide an opportunity to focus on a single work from an unusual perspective.
This series invites an academic response to the exhibition Stitch in Time: The Fabric of Contemporary Life.
Laurence Davis has published widely in the areas of political theory and ideologies, with a particular expertise in radical political thought, anarchist and utopian studies, democratic and revolutionary theory, and the politics of art, work, ecology, love, and social change. His presentation is entitled: From the Medieval Guild to the Ecotopian Future: William Morris and the Craft of Revolution.
