In Detail is a series of public conversations that focus on a single work. Inviting academic experts from different backgrounds and pairing them with a Glucksman curator, these sessions provide an opportunity to focus on a single work from an unusual perspective. This series invites academic responses to the exhibition Facing Pages: The Art of The Great Book of Ireland. Professor Pádraig Ó Macháin, 1pm, Thursday 29 May Pádraig Ó Macháin is Professor of Modern Irish at UCC. His research interests include Irish manuscripts and verse, rural unrest in Ireland in the early 19th Century and the literary history of County Waterford.
