Fiona Kearney, Director of the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, will lead a free curatorial tour of the exhibition Living / Loss at 1pm on Friday 22 February.

Living/Loss presents different perspectives on the experience of illness, from the tender and compassionate portraits of patients by Cecily Brennan to the defiant, searching photographs created by Jo Spence during her cancer treatments, to the works installed in hospital rooms by Thomas Struth, through to the tongue-in-cheek pharmaceutical packets invented by Damien Hirst. The show includes new work by Irish duo The Project Twins that responds to ideas of social stigma associated with common illness.
