Take a Line for a Walk is a special tour that invites you to explore and draw your own experiences of the University College Cork campus.Take a Line for a Walk is a special tour that invites you to explore and draw your own experiences of the University College Cork campus. This artist-led tour takes you through the wonderful surroundings of the University campus inviting you to experience its stunning buildings, scenery and history. UCC was established as Queen’s University of Ireland in 1845, and Taking a Line for a Walk will introduce you to this historic campus - from the award-winning architecture of the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, to the sublime interiors of the Honan Chapel, the collection of Ogham Stones dating back to the fifth century and the numerous artworks of the University College Cork Art Collection displayed across campus.
Throughout the tour, you will have the opportunity to draw your observations and insights, recording the sights and scenes of your visit. Not only will you gain a new insight into the campus environment but you will have produced a unique and personal memento of the tour.
