In Conversation: Colm Toibin & Nicholas Fox Weber

Join us for a conversation between Colm Toibin and Nicholas Fox Weber

In his essay on Josef Albers in The Sacred Modernist catalogue, Colm Tóibín speaks about “the raw signs of how the work was made.” In this public conversation with exhibition curator and fellow writer Nicholas Fox Weber, Colm Tóibín will discuss the making, viewing and collecting of art.

Colm Tóibín is one of Ireland’s most distinguished writers and the award-winning author of books including New Ways to Kill Your Mother, Brooklyn and The Master. Nicholas Fox Weber is the executive director of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation and curator of The Sacred Modernist: Josef Albers as a Catholic Artist. He is also the author of more than a dozen books including The Bauhaus Group and Le Corbusier: A Life.

This event is a fundraising initiative to benefit the GLUCKSMAN artistic programme. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 24 April and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
