In Detail is a series of lunchtime talks exploring a selected work from the current exhibition. Inviting specialists and experts from different backgrounds and pairing them with a Glucksman curator, these talks provide an opportunity to focus on a single work from an unusual perspective. This series accompanies the exhibition School Days: the look of learning (November 19, 2010 – March 27, 2011). Keith O’Brien is the University College Cork Student Union President. He is a graduate in BSc Physiology, with a keen interest in psychology and politics. Keith also headed up the 'No to Fees' protest in Cork in 2009 with over 5,000 students, the biggest since the 70's. He is a well-known campaigner, contributor and commentator on student rights and issues, and regularly discusses student issues on RedFM, 96FM, Today FM, and in the Evening Echo, Sunday Business Post, Irish Examiner, Irish Independent and more.
