Considering the confluence of digital culture and electronic literature, this exhibition will build on the curatorial expertise of Chris Clarke who has curated several exhibitions of new media art and Dr. James O'Sullivan, Lecturer in Digital Arts & Humanities, UCC, whose research looks at how the digital is transforming ways of reading and writing. Addressing the notion of “peripheries”, the exhibition features artworks which explore the edges of literary and digital culture, including emerging traditions, indeterminate structures and processes, fringe communities of praxis, effaced forms and genres, marginalised bodies, and perceptual failings.
