Do an antigen test twice per week, on Monday and Thursday. Instructions are in the box supplied and at the link below.

If you have a positive antigen test take a saliva sample in the tube provided, put it in your freezer and return it to the Maker Space when it is safe to do so. Allow 30 minutes after eating or drinking before taking the saliva sample.

Testing and Sample Collection Instructions

If you are symptomatic and antigen negative you will be invited to the UniCoV Clinic to undergo further testing for seasonal respiratory viruses – flu, RSV and Adenovirus. These tests are similar to the Covid-19 antigen tests so results are available within 15 minutes. The sample is taken by nasopharyngeal swab (similar to the HSE PCR test) and is carried out by a Student Health/UniCoV Clinician.
