Student scholarships for two EEE undergraduates
Two EEE undergraduates were recent scholarship recipients. Graduating BE candidate Kilian O'Donoghue, was awarded the prestigious EMBARK award from the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology. The award will see Kilian funded for a three-year PhD programme at the department. Also, first-year EEE student, Tadhg Lambe was awared a Summer Student Scholarship by the Irish Health Research Board which will see him spend his summer working on innovative device development for biomedical applications. Both students will work with the Bioelectromagnetics group, under the direction of Dr. Cantillon-Murphy.
