SSPE 3rd year students volunteering in the community

8 Mar 2019

BEd (Hons) Sports Studies & Physical Education 3rd year students work with members of the Aisling Access Community Programme.

This semester a group of 3rd-year students were offered an opportunity to work with members of the Aisling Access Community Programme.  Nine students grabbed the offer with both hands and committed themselves to plan, schedule and implement a fun and exciting exercise programme for their class members throughout the month of March.

A huge well done to Kate Crowley, Eugene Kealy, Sean Foyle, Bríd Sears, Megan O' Shea, Aiden Touhy, Páidí Kelly, Muireann O' Driscoll, and Ciara O' Connell. We are super proud of their enthusiasm and willingness to assist and help with various projects facilitated by the team here in the SSPE programme. These students work hard to develop their skills and professionalism and are model teachers going out into society. The future is bright!
