School of Education hosts Professional Research Seminar on May 18th, 5-7PM.
The event will showcase the research work undertaken by our PME Year 2 and PME Year 2 Art and Design students in their placement schools.
It will take place in the Aula Max, from 5-7PM. The PME 2 and PME 2 Art and Design students' projects were undertaken in their own classrooms under the guidance and direction of School of Education/CIT Crawford College of Art and Design supervisors and with the invaluable support of Principals, Deputy Principals and Cooperating Teachers from our partner schools. All research is classroom–based and presents practical and relevant insights on a range of educational and pedagogical issues, across an array of subject areas and in a variety of school contexts.
A selection of students will demonstrate and discuss their research through short oral and poster presentations and students will be also be available to discuss and answer questions on their findings. This event is designed to disseminate the students’ research findings and to allow students the opportunity to present and share their research insights and experiences with school management, cooperating teachers, school colleagues and School of Education staff and tutors. It is also a celebration of the rich and vibrant professional association that we in the School of Education enjoy with our partner schools. The event is being organised by Máire Ní Ríordáin and Niamh Dennehy of the School of Education.
All are welcome.
