Dr. Karl Kitching publishes 'A thousand tiny pluralities' article on the possibilities and limits of secular education policy in Ireland

This paper offers an international and Irish policy analysis of secular market-led policies of nonreligious and religious school community recognition. It also analyses how one child engages with the problems and possibilities created by such policies.
The paper is published ahead of print in Critical Studies in Education, an international critical sociology of education journal. It draws on data from the Irish Research Council funded study 'Making Communion: Disappearing and Emerging Forms of Childhood in Ireland' (click on study title for more information). It is the fifth publication from this study. The first 50 downloads of the article are available free of charge at this link: http://www.tandfonline.com/eprint/6jhAMefD7aEbjfUMssj8/full
