Best of luck to lecturer in the School of Education,Dr Wesley O’Brien and the Cork Camogie Team who play Galway next Sunday September 13 at 4pm

The Cork camogie team, coached by Dr Wesley O’Brien, BEd (Hons) Sports Studies & Physical Education, play Galway next Sunday. Cork are defending the title that they won last year when they defeated Kilkenny.

The county flag is flying high with two All-Ireland Final appearances over the next three weeks in both Camogie and Ladies Gaelic Football.

First up are the Cork camogie team who play Galway next Sunday September 13 at 4pm in a game that is live on RTE 2 TV and once again there is a fantastic UCC student representation.

In total there are nine from the College camogie club on the panel, Pamela & Katrina Mackey (PHD Chemistry), Leanne O’Sullivan (Arts), Meabh Cahalane (Commerce), Orla Cronin (Biological & Chemical Science), Amy O’Connor (Pharmacy), Jennifer Hosford (Childhood Studies), Hannah Looney (Chemical Engineering) and Lauren Callinan (Pharmacy).

The team coach is Dr Wesley O’Brien of the School of Education, BEd (Hons) Sports Studies & Physical Education.

Cork are defending the title that they won last year when they defeated Kilkenny.
