Best of luck to Dr Wesley O’Brien, Lecturer in the School of Education, and the Cork Camogie Team who play Kilkenny next Sunday the 11th of September 2016 at 4pm.

The Cork camogie team, coached by Dr Wesley O’Brien, B.Ed. (Hons) Sports Studies & Physical Education, play Kilkenny next Sunday. Cork are defending the title that they won last year when they defeated Galway.
The Cork camogie team who play Kilkenny next Sunday the 11th of September at 4pm in the game will be shown live on RTE 2 and there is a fantastic UCC student representation.
The Senior team is represented by Pamela & Katrina Mackey (PHD Chemistry), Meabh Cahalane (Commerce with French), Hannah Looney (Chemical Engineering),Amy O’Connor (Pharmacy), Orla Cronin (Biological & Chemical Science) and Jennifer Hosford (Childhood Studies) as well as graduates Leanne O’Sullivan (Arts) and Orla Cotter (Sports Studies & Physical Education).
The coaching management included Wesley O’Brien (Lecturer, Sport Studies & Physical Education) as well as former Cork hurler and second year Sports Studies & Physical Education student Niall McCarthy.
Cork are defending the title that they won last year when they defeated Galway.
