English in Academic Contexts: Drivers of Collaboration, Innovation and Creativity
UCC Language Centre are very excited to be hosting English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in Ireland's 2nd annual conference this Saturday 5th October at the Western Gateway Building.
EAP in Ireland are very happy to announce our guest speaker: Sara-Jane Cromwell, Author of books and including ‘Becoming Myself’, ‘Wrong Body, Wrong Life’ and the article ‘Gender Dysphoria - A Treatable Condition in Mainstream Medicine’ in the Irish Medical Times.
Sara-Jane will be speaking on the topic of 'Collaboration: Reflections on Identity and Representation for educators'
Plenary speakers include:
Dr Karl Kitching, Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Senior Lecturer in Education, University College Cork: speaking on the topic of Teaching Against Whiteness.
Dr Alex Ding, Director of Scholarship and of the Centre for Excellence in Language Teaching in the School of Languages, Cultures and Society and Associate Professor of EAP, University of Leeds: speaking on the topic of 'Foreclosing our Future: Responding to Neoliberalism'
